Why Backplane exists
Medicine should belong to the peoplepracticing it.
Too many great clinicians are stuck in a grind of insurance denials, corporate quotas, and endless shift work. Backplane exists to give them a way out — software to support running a cash-pay clinic they actually own.
The thesis
We believe in cash-pay medicine: patients paying directly for care they choose, clinicians running practices they own. Backplane focuses on clinic infrastructure.
We focus on clinic operations: connected charting, pharmacy-order and follow-up tools, plus transaction summaries to support your bookkeeping workflow. Backplane began inside a physician’s own clinic.
